Rugged Nature was founded for people who love the great outdoors by a group of hunters, fishermen, trail runners, and boaters, who all happen to be engineers that worked for NASA, the military, and Apple.  

 

Like you, we look to outdoor activities to escape our always "plugged-in" world.  However, some technology can help you navigate, track and spot wildlife, manage equipment, and stay safe.  But we found most products just aren't rugged enough for heavy outdoor use.  Cell signals are weak, Bluetooth lacks range, batteries die, trees block GPS signals, and mud or water renders devices useless.
